Book Description
"الإعلان بالتوبيخ لمن ذم التاريخ" من أهم مصنفات الحافظ المؤرخ شمس الدين محمد بن عبد الرحمن السخاوي المتوفى (سنة 902) اعتبر في كتابه هذا أن علم التاريخ أو "فن التاريخ" كما يسميه؛ من أجلّ القربات بل من العلوم الواجبات للأحكام الخمسة؛ ومن الأصول المعتبرات، لذلك اهتم بإظهار ما فيه من الفوائد المأثورات عن أهل العلم، فبدأ بتعريفه لغة وإصطلاحاً، وحدد موضوعه، وفوائده وغايته وحُكمه من الوجوب أو الإستحباب أو الإباحات وما استنبط في الأدلة له من الكتاب والسُّنة وغيرهما بالطرق الواضحات وتقبيح من ذمه، أي - علم التاريخ - ومن تعرض له بالإنتقاص من المؤرخين أنفسهم.
لذلك، فهو يحدد ماذا يتوجب على الباحث في هذا العلم فيقول "وماذا على المعتني به من الشروط المقررات وأول من أمر به وابتداء وقته شهراً وهجرة بتكرر الساعات والأوقات ثم ما علمته فيه من المصنفات على إختلاف المقاصد في الأشخاص والجهات..."، وغير ذلك من فنون علم التاريخ يذكرها المؤلف مما تضمنته الكتب التاريخية من نصوص وآراء في هذا الشأن، وكذا يتوجه بحديثه إلى أئمة الجرح والتعديل، والمشتغلين بالتراجم وهم كثيرون كابن أبي الدم، وابن فلكان وغيرهم من رواد الأدب والشعر في زمانه مع ذكر كتبهم وقراءة ما فيها والتعليق عليها.
لذلك، فالكتاب يحفلّ بالمصادر التاريخية المهمة التي يمكن أن تنفع الباحثين في شتى العلوم الإنسانية، بالإضافة إلى أنه مثالٌ واضح لمكانة المؤرخين الأعلام وتنوع معارفهم، وقد كتب عنهم السخاوي الذي هو علم من أعلام التاريخ العربي والإسلامي والفقه والحديث.
لهذا فالكتاب إضافة مهمة للمكتبة التاريخية، بالإضافة إلى مصنفات عديدة ألَّفها نذكر منها: "الجواهر والدرر في ترجمة الشيخ ابن حجر"، و"فتح الغيث بشرح ألفية الحديث"، و"المقاصد الحسنة في الأحاديث الجارية على الألسنة"... وغيرها.
