هذا الكتاب يبحث في فاتحة الكتاب وأم القرآن الكريم من حيث قراءتها في كل ركعة من ركعات الصلاة الواحدة فرضاً كانت أم نقلاً في السرية أو الجهرية سواء وإنها لا تسقط عن المأموم في الأوليين من الصلاة الجهرية خاصة وأن الإمام لا يتحملها عن المأموم وبالتالي فهي لا تسقط عنه ولو أدرك الإمام راكعاً وقد دخل في الصف وعليه السكينة والطمأنينة بل يتابع الإمام وجوباً على الحال التي يجده عليها.
كما يستعرض الكتاب الأحاديث الضعيفة الواردة في هذا الموضوع، وتفسير وتوضيح معنى الأجزاء المنظومة كالآية المباركة: (وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُواْ لَهُ وَأَنصِتُواْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ) (الأعراف: 204) ثم الحديث النبوي ا لشريف: الإمام ضامن والمؤذن مؤتمن... وحقيقة نازعنيها وخالجنيها وبيان حقيقة ودقة حديث السكنات صحته ومعناه، وبيان المحبة والإخلاص بين أصحاب المذاهب السنية الأربعة المشهورة وجمالية الترابط فيما بينهم وتواضعهم رحمهم الله تعالى.
وتبرأة ذمتهم أمام الله تعالى في إجتهاداتهم وتوضيح الحدود لتلك الإجتهادات التي لا تتعدى وجود وظهور الحديث الصحيح والحديث المرجح والضرب بتلك الإجتهادات عرض الحائط بوجود النص الشرعي الصحيح، ثم الترابط والإنسجام الطيب المبارك بين تلك الأجزاء لخدمة المعنى المراد ولخدمة موضوع الكتاب والقضية المطروحة فيه.
