لقد بدأنا في الفصل الأول في شرح المواضيع التي تتعلق بالتعريف بعلم الإحصاء وتطوره ومن ثم تطرقنا إلى مبادئ الطريقة الإحصائية وبعدها إلى دراسة التمركز في الظواهر الإحصائية وتشتتها ومن ثم تطرقنا إلى العلاقات بين الظواهر الإحصائية.
لقد أفردنا الفصول الثلاثة الأخيرة إلى تطبيقات إحصائية في علم الاقتصاد والصناعة. وهذه الفصول تتعلق بتحليل السلاسل الزمنية والأرقام القياسية والسيطرة النوعية وبماء خطط المراقبة للإنتاج.
