تسعى هذه الدراسة لإعادة قراءة الشعرية العربية، من حيث مرجعياتها وإبدالاتها النصية، وتستند هذه القراءة لأسس نظرية وأدوات منهجية، بها يتم الإنصات للشعرية العربية في مسارها التاريخي، الذي يطرح أسئلة عدة، متعلقة بالمفاهيم التي ارتبطت بها مرحلياً، وذلك حسب القيم المعرفية لكل عصر، وكذلك النصوص المترتبة عنها من مرحلة إلى أخرى.
لا شك أن المفهوم الشعري غير ثابت، وهو متغير لكن الوظيفة الشعرية تسمح للدارس بفهم أعمق للشعرية وإبدالاتها النصية، على إعتبار أنها تأسيس نصي من حيث المفهوم والوظيفة معاً، وعليه فلا بد من إكتشافها وتعريتها، والبحث عن إستقلالها وإبدالها من مرحلة إلى أخرى، ومن نص إلى آخر.
إن الشعرية العربية، تغري بالقراءة والإنصات، معنى هذا أنها كموضوع علمي، تشترط تصورا يغزو المنسي والمغيب فيها، وإنطلاقاً من هذه الرؤية يستطيع المؤلف أن يصف هذه الشعرية، وأن يحلل نصوصها، ومعرفة قوانين إبدالاتها.
فهذه الدراسة ترصد إنتقال الشعرية العربية من الشفوية إلى الكتابة، وفي هذا المسار المفهومي والنظري، نتعرف على الممارسات النصية وقوانينها، من شعرية إلى أخرى ونتعرف أيضاً على طبيعة الحدود بين هذه الشعريات.
