Book Description
يسعى كتاب المواطن والتربية المدنية في لبنان لتحقيق الأهداف العامة التالية:
1-اكتساب الطالب مجموعة من القيم والمفاهيم الإنسانية التي تميزه كإنسان متحضر، كالعدالة والمساواة والحرية والديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان، وما يتفرع منها، والدفاع عنها والعمل على تطبيقها واعتمادها في سلوكه.
2-اكتساب الطالب صورة عن نفسه بوصفه فرداً مستقلاً في تفكيره، قادراً على الإقناع مستعداً للاقتناع والاشتراك في الحوار البناء وتبادل الرأي، ولديه شعور بالانتماء إلى المجتمع المدني مقبلاً على التعاون وحل النزاعات؟
3-إدراك الطالب المصلحة العامة ودور الدولة والقانون في حمايتها، ومسؤوليته كمواطن في المحافظة عليها وخدمتها وتطويرها، وممارسة حقوقه وواجباته واستعداده للانضمام إلى المنظمات المدنية وللعناية بالمعاقين ولحماية البيئة من التلوث في لبنان.
4-انتماء الطالب إلى لبنان وفهمه طبيعة النظام السياسي فيه وإدراكه مسائل فصل السلطات والحكم والمعارضة وأهمية الإعلام، ودور الجيش في الدفاع عن الوطن، واستعداده للمشاركة في الشؤون العامة المدنية والسياسية والوطنية فيه.
ويأتي هذا الكتاب الذي بين يدينا ليتكامل مع كتاب الطالب "المواطن والتربية المدنية في لبنان الذي تم ذكره سابقاًً ليعاون المعمل في ترتيب الدروس وتأطير المناقشات وتنظيم الأنشطة المتعلقة بالتربية المدنية في الصف الثالث متوسط.
