"شكرتُ السيدة ووضعت الورقة في جيب سروالي، أخذت المصعد نحو الغرفة في الطابق الرابع، تذكرت عبارة الكاتب المغربي محمد زفزاف اللمّاحة التي يبتدئ بها روايته "الثعلب الذي يظهر ويختفي" عن تجربته مع مدينة الصويرة على الشاطئ الأطلسي، حيث يقول: "مدينة الصويرة كالمرأة، والمرأة هي القفل والمفتاح".
وها أنا ذا بدوري أبتدئ أول تماس لي مع مدينة لندن بدعوة من امرأة مجهولة من تشيلي، امرأة من أقصى الريح، وقد اكتشفتُ لاحقاً، ويا للمصادفة العجيبة، أن هذه العبارة جاءت في مسرحية عطيل لوليم شكسبير.
وقد وردت على لسان البطل المغربي نفسه وهو يكيل الإتهامات الجارحة لديدمونة، قبل أن ينتهي به المطاف إلى خنقها وقد انطلت عليه الحيلة والخديعة وبلغ منه السم مداه".
