الإتقان في علوم القرآن للحافظ عبد الرحمن ابن الكمال أبي بكر بن محمد الخضيري السيوطي. الذي نبغ في علوم التفسير والحديث والفقه والنحو وغيرها من علوم العربية، وقد تفرغ للتصنيف والكتابة، فغذى المكتبة الإسلامية بعدة مصنفات، من أهمها هذا الكتاب الذي يضمّ أشرف العلوم وأجلّها، حيث حصر المؤلف غايته في أمور، أهمها مواطن النزول وأوقاته ووقائعه، كالمكي والمدني والسفري والحضري، والليلي، والنهاري، والصيفي والشتائي والفراشي والنومي، وأسباب النزول، وأول ما نزل وآخر ما نزل، والسند وهو ستة أنواع: المتواتر، الآحاد، الشاذ، قراءات النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، الرواة والحفاظ، والألفاظ كالغريب والمعرب، المجاز، المشترك، المترادف، الاستعارة، التشبيه، والمعاني المتعلقة بالأحكام، كالعام الباقي على عمومه، العام المخصوص، وغير ذلك من الأحكام، وكذلك المعاني المتعلقة بالألفاظ، كالفصل والوصل، والإيجاز، الإطناب، القصر. كما تحدث عن أمور أخرى لم يتحدث عنها السلف الصالح، فجمع بذلك شوارد العلم وضمّ إليه فوائده.
كتاب يبحث في العلوم المتعلقة بالقرآن الكريم مثل مواطن النزول وأوقاته ووقائعه، والقراءات وأسانيد رواية القرآن الكريم، والألفاظ القرآنية والتجويد، وأحكام القرآن كالعام والخاص والمجمل والمبين والمطلق والمقيد والناسخ والمنسوخ وغير ذلك مما يتعلق بالعلوم القرآنية . مع شرح هذه الأمور والتمثيل عليها وعد شروطها
