لذا فالرواية بالعجائبية هي رواية لعالم آخر غير العالم الطبيعي، عالم يتعلق بفوضى الحياة الساخرة، إنها فضاء روائي زاخر بخطابات لا تخضع لمخيلة السرد التقليدي، نزوة فنية تتنفس برئات عدة، رمزية وصوفية وفولكلورية وأسطورية، تحتوي التكثيف لتقدم للقارئ عبر (رحلة) خلف الزمن وأسوار المكان حلولاً لقضايا الحياة، التي تعقدت وامتدت جذورها لتقيم في خفايا الذاكرة.
إن خصوصية هذا اللون من الأدب السردي تنطلق من إنفتاحه اللامحدود على التراث الروائي العالمي، دون أن يلغي بذلك الإنفتاح خصوصية الموروث السردي العربي، أو المجهود الإبداعي الذي قام به كُتّاب الرواية، وتجلت من خلاله قدرة المبدع العربي الهائلة على التعبير عن عالمه ورؤيته الخاصة.
وهذا الكتاب قراءة نقدية خصبة لنماذج بعينها من الإصدارات الروائية، التي رأت فيها الباحثة تشخيصاً لطبيعة هذا الفن الإبداعي في إتجاهاته المختلفة، عبر مغايرة وتنوع في وسائل التحليل، منتقاة من مناهج حداثية لها جدواها في دراسة الفنون السردية.
