Book Description
إنّ هذا البحث يعني بشكلٍ خاص أقلية دينية مهمّة من أبناء الجمهورية العربية السورية، ونحن إذ نشعر بأننا لا زلنا في بداية البحث من خلال هذه الدراسة، مع أننا بدأنا دراساتنا الجامعية في هذا المجال منذ نهاية عام 1979، ولذلك فإننا نظنّ أنّ قلّة قليلة من كبار رجال الدين في الطائفة العلوية النصيرية يعرفون أصول معتقدات مذهبهم، حيث أن الجانب الباطني لا يمتّ بأدنى صلة إلى الجانب الظاهر.
ولا بدّ من إلقاء بعض الملاحظات على الأبحاث والكتب التي تداولت دراسة الطائفة العلوية النصيرية، حيث قسّمت إلى إتجاهات ثلاث خلال القرن العشرين، إحداها حمل لواء الدفاع عنهم، والفريق الثاني اتّخذ التهجّم على العلوية النصيرية هدفاً، والفريق الثالث الذي اتخذ المنهجية العلمية كسبيلٍ للبحث، ومع الأسف الشديد لم يكن بينهم أي كُتَّابٍ باللغة العربية.
أمّا عن هدفنا من هذه الدراسة فليس العودة لتكرير ما قدمته لنا الدراسات السابقة، فنحن نرى أنّ الأمور قد تناولتها أقلام الباحثين بأشكالٍ مختلفة، منها روح الإنتقام، ومنها البحث عن إسناد البراءة من ذنبٍ اتّهِموا به، ومنهم من نظر إلى الأمر بنظرة أصحاب الدراسات الغربية عن المشرق، أو كما أطلق إدوار سعيد على ذلك العلم إسم: الإستشراق أو نظرة الغرب للمشرق...
وإذا سؤِلنا، كيف يمكن طرح قضية الديانة العلوية النصيرية في منهج الدراسات العلمية الحديثة، فنحن نرى أن يتوجّب وضعها ضمن مادة تاريخ الأديان، ولو توقّفنا لنفتّش عن جامعة في الدولة العربية أو في العالم الإسلامي بكامله، قد فتحت فروعاً لمعاهد علمية للبحث في هذه المادة، أي تاريخ الأديان، لما وجدنا شيئاً، لكننا نجد فقط كليات لعلم الشريعة هدفها تخريج أئمة وقضاة شرعيين ومدرسين لمادة التربية الإسلامية...
