Book Description
ابن إسحاق هو الشيخ المحدث محمد بن إسحاق بن يسار بن خيار، أبو بكر القريشي المدني المطلبي، ولد سنة 80 هجرية، نشأ في بيئة علمية، فوالده أحد الرواة الثقات وقد حظي ابن إسحاق برؤية أسس بن مالك وسعيد بن المسيب. وأخذ العلم عن جم غفير من العلماء، وارتحل إلى الكوفة، والجزيرة، والري، وبغداد وآخرها مصر، ثم عاد إلى المدينة المنورة.
ومن مصنفاته: الخلفاء والسير والمغازي، وهو أصل كتاب السيرة النبوية لابن هشام، حيث إن ابن هشام كان قد اعتمد في تدوين كتابه السيرة النبوية على رواية ابن إسحاق الذي كان قريب العهد من كبار التابعين، حيث أنه كان يرد بعض الروايات ولا يأخذ بها لثبوت ما هو أصح عنده، عن غير طريق ابن إسحاق.
وبين طيات هذه النسخة من كتاب السيرة النبوية لابن إسحاق قسمين الأول: ضم ما عثر عليه من مخطوط ابن إسحاق مفردة، والثاني: تكملته من سيرة ابن هشان المأخوذة من ابن إسحاق، بالاقتصار على رواية ابن إسحاق، ليخرج متمماً للكتاب، ولتعم الفائدة. وإذا ما عدنا لنص الكتاب "السيرة النبوية لابن إسحاق" نجد أنه يعد من أهم وأفضل وأشهر ما صنف في السيرة النبوية الشريفة على الإطلاق والكتاب تناول حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم من ولادته حتى وفاته شارحاً كل الأحداث التي مر بها خلال حياته الشريفة مفصلاً كل صغيرة وكبيرة بحياة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وخصوصاً بعد البعثة النبوية، فجاء الكتاب حاملاً كل ما يتعلق بالرسالة الإسلامية في عهده وكذلك بأسماء الصحابة مع التركيز على الأحداث والغزوات التي حدثت ذلك الحين وغير ذلك الكثير.
