السلوك أو السلوكيات التي يتناولها مؤلف الكتاب، هي سلوكيات وأخلاق يمكننا ادعاء تأثيرها على الجوارح والجلد والعضلات في البنيان مثل الزنا والسرقة، كما أن هناك سلوكيات وأخلاق تؤثر في الأعضاء الداخلية كالمعدة والطحال والمرارة، وهناك سلوكيات تؤثر في الأعضاء الأساسية كالعمود الفقري والرئة والكبد. وهو يحدد مفردات المنهج التوحيدي بالكمال وفق نموذج أو مثال الإنسان كامل عبر عنه سبحانه بالمثل الأعلى، حيث لا يجدر بالإنسان أن يضع نصب عينيه هدفاً أقل أو أوضع منه.
ولذا يمكن تحديد المقومات الأساسية لهذا المنهج بالعبادة، الإنسان، الولاية. أما الشرك فهو يقابل منهج التوحيد، فالشرك هو الولاية لغير الله وهو حركة الإنسان التسافلية في الضلالة والظلمات من خلال ولاية الطاغوت وطاعته وإتباع الهوى في طريق مثل السوء وينعكس الشرك في السلوك كما هو حال التوحيد فهما ليسا أمرين مجردين المتقاديين تنحصر مفاعيلهما في القناعة والتوجه وإنما يترشح عن التوحيد وعن الشرك التزامات وحركات وسلوكيات في العلاقة مع الله وفي العلاقة مع النفس وفي العلاقة مع الآخر إنساناً أو غير إنسان.
