الشعر: زوادة الخائبين، يقول رعد يكن في متاهة الشعر يعدو الشاعر ليؤسس لنفسه شكلاً شعرياً جديداً يقع بين بنية العاطفة والتخييل ومتابعة انتقالات الأنا في صلاتها مع الآخر والعالم. في هذا العالم المليئ بالمرارات تعثر الأنا/ الشاعرة على المعادل الحياتي في أسطرة مشروعها الشعري وذلك حينما تتفتح على آفاق رؤياوية فيها الكثير مما يحلم أن يقوله الشاعر، فالشعر –لأنه هاجس الكمال- هو حرقة الأشياء الناقصة والإنجازات القابلة للدحض، هو أجمل أخطاء صانعيه، وربما لأجل ذلك هو أشدها فتنة وأكثرها قابلية للتصديق.
في "مزاج آلهة" خطاب شعري يشي بمنظومة من التوصيفات البلاغية المشعرنة القائمة على فعل الإنزياح ونقل النسق اللغوي من السائد والمألوف إلى الغرائبي والإدهاشي المتموضع داخل حاضنة لغوية تغرب شكلانيتها لتنعكس داخل المعاني الحافلة بعوالق الذاكرة الشخصية المتجهة إلى اللاشيء. يقول الشاعر: متجهاً إلى اللاشيء.../ إلى عيون موج السراب الأبيض وأساطير الأولين/ أنا فوق خط الشعر، تحت منحى الضلوع/ أتأبط الكلمات وأرميها عند المنعطفات بالمجان/ تحاصرني وجهات العرافات الطاعنة في الرؤى/ تعتلي ظهر قلبي غجرية ملت الرمل/ اشتري أصوات الفراغ، أقايضها بالدمع/ أرمي بظلال الرغبة خلف جدران الألم(...) سأبقى هكذا.../ يا أنا، لا أريد أن أموت واستريح". بهذا الحس التراجيدي الساخر والمرير يتبدى فعل الإنزياح اللغوي الناشط عند رعد يكن.
يضم الكتاب قصائد نثرية متنوعة تتراوح بين الطول والقصر نذكر من عناوينها: "لك وحدك"، "مشاغب في حضن قمر"، "الماء"، لوحة"، "سؤال"، "إيكار شهوة طيران"، "كم النساء الآن؟"، "شاعر"، "قصة جدتي"، فنجان شهوة" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
