كاتبة وروائية سورية مقيمة في اللاذقية وعضو في اتحاد الكتّاب العرب.
نالت جائزة أصدقاء الثقافة في سوريا عن روايتها "هرولة فوق صقيع توليدو"، وجائزة سيناريو عن فيلم للأطفال في مهرجان القاهرة الدولي لسينما الطفل.
ولدت في اللاذقية 1942.
تعمل أمينة سر لفرع اتحاد الكتاب العرب في اللاذقية.
نشرت قصصها الأولى في الصحف والمجلات السورية.
فازت بجائزة الرواية لأصدقاء دمشق، وجائزة مهرجان الأطفال في القاهرة عام 1996.
عضو جمعية القصة والرواية.

أصبحت هنا مع إخوتي معرضين للشك والتساؤلات، ما اسمك الحقيقي في بلدك؟... ما الذي ترتدينه هناك؟... أتضعين حجاباً؟... قولي الحقيقة، ما دينك؟... هل سترحلين من هنا؟... هل ستبقين؟...
قلت هذا في نفسي وفكّرت: أنا امرأة أمريكية، بحكم إقامتي لثلاثين عاماً في هذا البلد، وبحكم زواجي الأول من رجل أمريكي الجنسية، أشابه الكثيرين من أبناء العرب المتأمركين، وأتساوى مع من ولد هنا، أو من عاش على هذه الأرض قبل مئات السنين.
هذا المكان يضمّ مختلف الجنسيات، قد يعرف الأمريكي إنتماءه الأول، وقد يجهل أصوله، هذا أمر عاديّ، وعاديّ ألاّ يعرف اسم جدّه، وعاديّ أيضاً أن ينتمي لأمه، وعاديّ جداً أن يجهل والديه معاً... و.. و.. و.
شممت رائحة القهوة الأمريكية التي يغرم زوجي بإحتسائها، وسمعت صوت مذيع التلفاز يبثّ الأخبار الصباحية.
استطعت رسم صورة لما يحدث في العراق، نهضت على عجل ألحق صدى الأصوات: أعيرة نارية مروحيات طائرات نار دمار أطفال رجال نساء قتل موت.
