يتضمن هذا الكتاب قوائم بأسماء الكتب في اختصاص الأدب العربي في المملكة العربية السعودية، وبكلام آخر، أن ما تتضمنه هذه الببليوجرافيا هي الأعمال الأدبية والدراسات التي كتب عنها مؤلف الكتاب "يحيى محمود ساعاتي"في شكل كتب أو دراسات نشرت في دوريات أو مجلات شهرية أو أسبوعية- وتضم البيانات الببلوجرافية- كاسم المؤلف، عنوان الكتاب، الطبعة، بيانات النشر، عدد الصفحات لكل مرجع استخدمه المؤلف الساعاتي في كتاباته.
أما المنهج ال1ي استخدمه فكان كالتالي: 1- ترتيب الببليوجرافيا هجائياً بالمؤلفين، 2- وضع لكل مدخل رقم تسلسلي، ترتيب اسماء الاعلام الوارد ذكرهم في الببليوجرافيا في كشاف هجائي باسم العائلة أو الإسم الأخير، 3- المعلومات المتعلقة بالناشر والسلسلة وهكذا.
قسم المؤلف عمله غلى عناوين ببليوجرافية وهي: الأحاجي والألغاز، الأمثال العربية والعامية، الدراسات العامة: الشعر الشعبي، القصص والساطير الشعبية، القصة والرواية والمسرحية والمقالات.
وعلى هذا يحتوي هذا الكتاب على كم هائل بالمصادر الأدبية والتاريخية في الأدب العربي في السعودية تفيد الباحثين والدراسين في هذا المجال...
