تشكل راية اليماني مفصلاً في غاية الأهمية زمن الغيبة المتصل بأحداث الظهور، لأنها بالأصل تقوم زمن الظهور الخاص للمهدي، وهو الظهور الذي يدوم لأشهر. ثم على أثره يتم الإعلان العام عن ظهور المهدي الشريف. أهمية هذه الفترة أنها تشكل مفصلاً حاسماً لمكونات قوى الشرق الأوسط والنظام العالمي، وتمام شروطه ظهور المهدي.
أهمية التوقف عند "اليماني" تنبع من أن اليماني من المحتوم، وهو من الشرائط الهامة لصورة الظهور وطبيعة المسارات التي تكون تجمع أهل الإيمان وتمركزهم في قلب المنطقة على بعد قليل من لحظة البشرى الكبرى التي يتم على أثرها إعلان ظهور المهدي المنتظر.
في هذه الفترة بالذات تقع جملة من الأحداث الثقيلة، وتتأسس مسارات، وتحصل حوادث عظيمة، وتبدو جملة من الآيات الكونية والدلالات الوجودية، فضلاً عن تعاقب الفتن الكبرى، وخوض الدماء، ونيران الحروب التي تلف الأرض، وبدء العد العكسي لحكومات وحوش البشر وطغاة آخر الزمان.
إذا هي مرحلة شديدة الأهمية، وحاسمة في جملة من الملفات الرئيسية، ويكفي فيها أن تقع زمن الظهور الخاص لمولى البشرية في آخر الزمان.
من هنا فقد تعرض هذا الكتاب لجمةل ذات أهمية بالغة حول هذه الراية ومتفرعاتها، بل تحدث عن التاريخية المتصلة بها. وأورد في أدلته المسعية من كلا المصدرين: مصادر السنة والشيعة لتأكيد حقيقة اليماني الذي هو من المحتوم.
