جاء رسول الإنسانية صلى الله عليه وسلّم بالحقائق العلمية، وسط أمة أميّة، ليس لها من المعارف العلمية شيء يذكر، وبعد أربعة عشر قرناً تأتي الدراسات العلمية والاكتشافات الطبية، لتكون شاهداً على صدق النبوة، وعظمة الإسلام، رغم أن القرآن لم يأت كتاباً طبياً أو فلكياً، أو في غير ذلك من العلوم. إن معجزة القرآن العلمية لتظهر لأهل العلم في كل مجال من مجالاته، فهي ظاهرة في نظمه، وفي أخباره عن الأولين، وفي أخباره عن حوادث المستقبل والغيب، وفي ظهور حكم التشريع وغيرها. والإعجاز هو أخبار القرآن الكريم، أو السنة النبوية، بحقيقة أثبتها العلم التجريبي، وثبت عدم إمكانية إدراكها بالوسائل البشرية في زمن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلّم. والحديث حول الإعجاز العلمي بات ضرورياً في أيامنا هذه، حيث بات العلم فيها يقطع أشواطاً سريعة، لا يقبل فيها التوقف ولو للحظة، ففي كل يوم اختراعات جديدة واكتشافات مدهشة مثيرة، تزيد المؤمن أيماناً، والشاكّ حيرة وتساؤلاً. من هنا يأتي هذا الكتاب الذي جمع ما توصل إليه الأئمة المشتغلين بهذا الفن من الإعجاز العلمي والطبي، وهو يشمل كل موضوع يتعلّق بالإعجاز سواء أكان القرآن الكريم؛ أم السنة النبوية الشريفة، حيث إن القرآن الكريم هو كلام الله وحليف العلم وعدوّ الجهل، وسوف يبقى القرآن المعجزة الإلهية الخالدة؛ لأنه كلام الله الأزلي، الذي لا ينقضي عجائبه، ولا تنفذ علومه، وسوف يبقى القرآن يفيض بالمعجزات تلو المعجزات والآيات عبر الآيات، إلى أن تقوم الساعة، ولن يحدث أبداً تناقض بين العلم والقرآن إلا إذا ضلّ العلم طريقه، أو إذا كان تفسير الآيات خاطئاً.
