ومن المقطوع به أن في أخبار الرسول الأعظم بهذه الأمور المتأخرة بحسب اقتضاء ظرفها المحدودة به بشائر بالعصر الذهبي المستقبل الذي يعود إلى الدين الحنيف جِدته؛ فتسكن إليها القلوب المتضجرة من الفساد السائد في الكون. فالكتاب سفر حديثي من ناحية، ومجموعة معاجز من ناحية أخرى وتباشير بالعدل المقرون بظهور حجة آل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم من ناحية ثالثة، وقد انتخب المؤلف أخباره من ثلاثة كتب من المصادر الوثيقة المؤلفة في هذا الباب لآئمة الحديث كما نصّ عليهم الكتاب.
