ولكن ياسبرس، الفيلسوف الإنساني، يأبى أن يؤلِّه البشر إنساناً، وقد حفل كتابه "فلاسفة إنسانيُّون" بصيغ شتى تظهر أن العظمة الصحيحة ليست في تقديس العظماء ورفعهم فوق مستوى البشر، بل هي في الحق، وعلى نحو أفضل، ان نمجِّدهم مع إبقائهم في مستوى الإنسان، الإنسان الذروة والأوج.
