ذيب الصالح، ستيرا، الأب فؤاد، ريّا، شخصيات تترك ضمن فضاء روائي تدنو منه النفس لتستمع إلى منولوجات يتردد فيها ذلك النداء المجرّح الذي يحاول من خلالها موسى الأزرعي إيقاظ تلك الذاكرة الهاجعة في أحضان الزمان والتي تصور مرحلة تكوين المجتمع الأردني. والتطورات التي لحقت به خلال فترة الأربعينات والخسمينات. رواية تتسرب بهدوء إلى عمق الذات، يتعايش فيها القارئ مع معطيات اجتماعية سياسية نفسية يحاول من خلالها موسى الأزرعي استرداد تلك الروح التي شكلت الإنسان العربي في الأردن والوطن العربي عامة.
يبدو أن انهيار العالم الاشتراكي/المعادل الموضوعي للعالم الرأسمالي، خلف للشعوب ولحركات التحرر العالمية فراغاً كبيراً وشعوراً باليتم وإحباط على مستوى أحلامها التحررية، مما أدى إلى عودة تلك الحركات والشعوب إلى خصوصياتها وقضاياها المؤجلة من أجل مواجهة ذلك الفراغ الكاسر.
لكن يبقى ثمة سؤال صعب. هل ثمة مكان تحت الشمس للشعوب الصغيرة؟ وها هو موسى الأزرعي يضع بين أيدينا الإجابة من خلال هذا العمل الروائي، الذي يستكمل فيه استحضار الذاكرة التكوينية-مشهد الأربعينات والخمسينات، بكل ما فيه من تحولات حاسمة عاشها الأردن والعالم العربي-في محاولة لاشعورية منه لاكتشاف إحداثيات الذات، ومكوناتها من أجل توكيد ارتباط الإنسان بالأرض والتاريخ والجماعة، ومن أجل مواجهة ذلك الخراب، الذي لحق بالذات العربية في غمرة الحقبة الاستهلاكية وهجوم فلسفة العولمة.
إنها مونولوجات الوجع القومي، التي يتردد فيها ذلك النداء المجرح الذي يطلقه المبدعون في الأردن لإيقاظ تلك الذاكرة المتسربة، واسترداد تلك الروح التي شكلت الإنسان العربي في الأردن والوطن العربي عامة.
