أهلاً بك الى مقرر 3330 المنسوجات وتصميم الأزياء. حيث يتناول المبادئ والأسس الأولية لصناعة المنسوجات وعملية تصميم الأزياء ومن ثم يتطرق الى البيئة المحلية وما يتوفر فيها من مواد وصناعات نسيجية، مع تناول الخيوط والأنسجة والأقمشة، ويعالج الأصباغ والطباعة. وعند تناوله لعملية تصميم الأزياء يعالجها من حيث الألوان والخطوط والزخارف التقليدية وكيفية تطوير الأزياء الشعبية لتواكب الأزياء الحديثة مع الاحتفاظ بالنمط التقليدي للأزياء المحلية.
لأهمية هذا المقرر العلمية والعملية، ينتظر من الدارس بعد دراسة هذا المقرر أن يصبح قادراً على أن: يحدد الطرق المختلفة المستخدمة في المعالجة الأولية للألياف الطبيعية والصناعية. ويشرح مراحل غزل الألياف الطبيعية والصناعية. ويميز أقمشة النسيج وأقمشة التريكو وكيفية تشكيل كل منها. ويصنف الأصباغ ويحدد استخدامات كل منها. ويشرح طرق الصباغة المختلفة اليدوية والآلية. ويشرح تكنولوجيا الطباعة والعمليات التي تليها. ويناقش أهمية الألوان والخطوط والزخارف في تصميم الأزياء. وأخيراً، يعرف خطوات عملية التفصيل والخياطة.
لقد صمم المقرر بوحداته السبع لتحقيق الأهداف السابقة من خلال الوحدات المتسلسلة في المقرر وهي: أساسيات في المنسوجات وتصميم الأزياء. والمعالجة الأولية للمواد الخام. وتشكيل الخيوط (الغزل). تشكيل الأقمشة (النسيج والتريكو). الأصباغ والصباغة، الطباعة، وتصميم الأزياء وتفصيلها.
المبادئ والاسس الاولية في صناة المنسوجات وعملية تصميم الازياء مع اتركيز على البيئة المحلية وما يتوافر فيها من مواد وصناعات نسيجية واقمشة.
