مواهب ربانية ، وأخلاق نبوية ، وصفات عمرية فاروقية ، وسلوكيات سُنِّية سَنية ، ونفحات مدنية تجسدت في إمام دار الهجرة ، إمام المسلمين مالك بن أنس رضي الله عنه . أراد المؤلف رحمه الله تعالى أن يشير إلى شذرات وومضات وإشارات من ذلك ، وإلا . . لاحتاج إلى مجلدات ؛ لأن الشخص قد يكون عبقرياً في مجال أو ناحية من نواحي الحياة ، فكيف بمن كان عبقرياً في جميعها ؟! ولا عجب في ذلك ؛ لأن النبي ﷺ قد بشَّر بظهور الإمام مالك قبل وجوده بقوله : « يوشك أن تضرب الناس آباط المطي وأكباد الإبل في طلب العلم ، فلا يجدون أعلم من عالم المدينة » . فهذه عبقرية في العلم ما عُلمت لأحدٍ بعده ، وكما أُوتي عبقرية العلم . . أوتي عبقرية السلوك والإرادة والاتباع ، والحكم والتأثير ، والإبداع والابتكار . قال معلم البشرية الخير ﷺ في سيدنا عمر رضي الله عنه : « ما رأيت عبقرياً يفري فريه » ، فهذه العبقرية العمرية ورثها إمام المدينة بكل خصائصها وجوانبها ، وفقه عمر أشهر من أن يذكر . كان يعظم مقام النبوة : فلا يركب في المدينة ، ويمشي فيها حافياً ، ولم يتخذ مُبلِّغاً في مجلسه ؛ لئلا يرتفع صوته في حضرة النبي ﷺ ، وقصته مع أبي جعفر المنصور مشتهرة . وإن مؤلف هذا الكُتيب النافع ـ الذي أراد أن يجعله مفتاحاً لمن بعده ، يضيء بعض جوانب حياة هؤلاء الأعلام ـ ذكر أن الذي دفعه لتأليف هذه الصفحات أمران : أولهما : ختمه لـ « موطأ الإمام مالك » ، والثاني : أنه نقل عن صاحب « شجرة النور الزكية » قال أصحاب المناقب : ( ينبغي لكل مقلِّد إمام أن يعرف حال إمامه الذي قلده ) ولا يحصل ذلك إلا بمعرفة مناقبه وشمائله وفضائله . فأتحفنا بهذه الدرة الغالية ؛ التي سماها « عبقرية الإمام مالك » رضي الله عنه ، ثم ثنَّى ذلك بإتباع مختصر من الفقه المالكي وهو « تحفة السالك لمذهب الإمام مالك » وجعلهما كتاباً واحداً ، نسأل الله له القبول والنفع بهذين السِّفْرينِ النَّيِّرينِ .
