كما أشار هذا الكتاب إلى كل من البنوك المركزية والبنوك التجارية كونهما مسؤولتان عن إنشاء النقود القانونية ونقود الودائع الترتيب، كما اعتمد المؤلف في هذا الكتاب أهم الأدوات التقليدية وغير التقليدية للسياسة النقدية ليناقش في الأخير أهدافها التاريخية والحديثة.
