يتوجه المؤلفان في هذا الكتاب إلى طلاب علم الهندسة المدنية، في ما يتعلق بالتحليل الإنشائي [1] RC للخرسانة المسلحة، أي الخطوات الواجب إتخاذها عند إنشاء الخرسانة المسلحة تبعاً للغاية التي أنشئت من أجلها، والحسابات الهندسية المتعلقة بكل خطوة في هذه العملية الإنشائية.
وقد تم طرح المسائل المتعلقة بطريقة الإنشاء، ومعالجتها معالجة دقيقة في إطار التحليل الهندسي الرياضي، وشملت هذه الدراسة الهندسية التحليلية لإنشاء الخرسانة المسلحة سبع وحدات.
جاءت على الترتيب: الوحدة الأولى: مدخل إلى التحليل الإنشائي ما يشمل: "طرق نقل الحمولات من البلاطة إلى الأساسات"، "رسم مخطوطات الجسم الحرّ للــ (BE, CD, IG ABC girders) الوحدة الثانية: رسم منحنيات القصّ والعزوم: رسم منحنيات القص والعزوم للجسور (Beams)، "رسم منحنيات القص والعزوم للإطارات (Frames)"، "رسم منحنيات القص والعزوم للعقود (Arches)، الوحدة الثالثة: الجمالونات (التحديد الأستاتيكي والتحليل)، الجمالونات البسيطة المحددة بالسكون (المستوية)، تحليل الجمالونات بطريقة العقد (Joints)، تحليل الجمالونات بطريقة المقاطع (Sections)، الجمالونات الفراغية، الوحدة الرابعة: تحليل الحبال (Cables)، تحليل الحبال وإيجاد قوى الشدّ فيها، الوحدة الخامسة: خطوط التأثير (Influence lines) خطوط التأثير لجسور بسيطة، رسم خطوط التأثير لردود الأفعال في الــ Cantilever (الجسر الطائر)، رسم خطوط التأثير للقص في الجسور، رسم خطوط التأثير في floor girders ، رسم خطوط التأثير في الجمالونات، الوحدة السادسة: تأثير سلسلة القوى المركزة: أقصى تأثير (قص أو عزم) عند نقطة ناتج من سلسلة من الأحمال المركزة، الوحدة السابعة: الإنحرافات Deflections - حساب الإنحرافات.
