(اليدان الصغيرتان اللتان وضعتا حبَّتي كستناء في وجه رجل الثلج، كانتا دافئتين وناعمتين كأجنحة الفراشات، وبعد ان غرست الطفلةُ ذات السبعة أعوام عيني رجل الثلج أصابتها قشعريرةٌ، مباغتةٌ ولمعتُ عيناها بيرق مشاكسٍ، حيث تلفتت يميناً وشمالاً كلصٍ محترفٍ، وحين تيقَّنت من أنَّ الجميع قد ذهبوا وأنها وحيدةً في ذلك العصر الشتائي مع رجل الثلج أحاطت وجنتيه بكفيها الصغيرتين ولفحت أنفاسها وجههُ لتطبع على فمه قبلةً طويلةً وتهربُ إلى البيت، حيث ستدخل تحت اللحاف الصوفي مسرعة لتغمض عينيها وهي على أهبة الإستعداد لمتعة حلم تلك الليلة؛ لمتعةٍ لن تقطف مثلها في حياتها القادمة برمّتها.
حين يكون القاص مسرحي خبر الحياة من على خشبته، كالكاتب فوق مسعود سيكون بين يدينا نصوص تنبض بالألوان، حيث يأخذنا الكاتب في برارية المحفوفة بالشغف والغواية واللهفة وروائح الأمكنة والبشر والمشبعة بالتفاصيل، والتي قد نحتاج إلى الغور في ذاكرتنا العميقة كي تتجول في وعور نزقة، او نتبع غرائز الأمكنة وزيارات الموتى وشعب الأطفال في لهوهم.
باختصار، ستسفر رواية الكاتب والطريقة التي تناول فيها القضايا الإنسانية بكل صدق وشفافية مبتعداً عن التكلف والإبتذال ليكون بذلك من القلائل الذين تسعفهم الموهبة على إتقان هذا النوع من الأدب، القصة القصيرة.
يجدر الإشارة أن هذه القصص تنتظم ضمن مجموعات: "الغريق السومري 2002 من إصدارات وزارة الثقافة"، "نهاية الرجل الصغير 8002 من إصدارات وزارة الثقافة"، "الأطفال الأشقياء 1102 تُنشر للمرة الأولى"، "قصص طويلة جداً 9102 تُنشر للمرة الأولى".
