يضم هذا الكتاب بين طياته كتابين الأول هو الكشف في علم الحرف وهو من إعداد الشيخ "أحمد بن علي البوني" حيث تحدث فيه عن: معرفة الكواكب السبعة وأفلاكها وسعودها، ونحوسها، وإشرافها، وهبوطها، ووبالها وبيوتها، وما لها من الأيام والليالي، ومعرفة أماكنها من الفلك، كما وتوقف عند بخورها ومعادنها، وما أودع الله فيها من الأسرار، أفعالها وظهورها وآثارها في العالم الإنساني إلى جانب هذا تحدث عن وجود علم الحرف، أسرار أرواح الحروف، طبائع الحروف، الأحرف النحسة والتصرف بذلك، الأحرف الممتزجة، الأحرف النورانية، الأحرف المظلمة، استملاك العقول والأنفس، الجذب والحضور، الألفة والمحب’ن تحصيل المفقود، علم الأرصاد والطرد والإبعاد، علم الزايرجة، علم التكعيب، علم الفلسفة وعلم الوزان الصرفية.
وأما الكتاب الثاني فجاء تحت عنوان "أصول علم الحرف وضوابط الآفاق" وهو من إعداد "الحكيم سقراط" وهو عبارة عن رسالة وجهها سقراط إلى كل تلميذ وحكيم ورتبها على فصول تحدث فيها عن علم الحرف، أوقات أعمال الخير، وضع الأوقاف وتنزيل الأعداد، أسماء الله الحسنة صفة الذكر بالأسماء الحسنى.
