رواية "أسوار الكراهية" للكاتب التركي جيم مومجو، والتي ترجمها للعربية محرم شيخ إبراهيم، والصادرة عن دار الحوار للنشر والتوزيع، يرصد من خلالها الروائي التركيّ جيم مومجو كيفيّة تكبيل مشاعر الكراهيّة لطاقات المرء ودفعه إلى التخبّط في مستنقعات الخطيئة، عبر الارتحال بين الآثام، ومحاولة الهرب الدائم إلى الأمام، في سعي لتبديد تلك الكراهيّة التي تتحوّل بالتقادم إلى قيد مدمّر للإنسان.
تتحدّث الرواية عن أسرة صغيرة ترزق بطفل، وفي اللحظة نفسها يموت والده. الولادة والموت حدثان متزامنان معاً، يعبّران عن دورة الحياة الأزليّة الأبديّة.
يتمّ استقبال الوليد القادم، واختيار اسم محرّم له في ما بعد، بحيث يكون قد مرّ على ولادته زمن، ويعيش الطفل في كنف مجموعة من النساء، أمّه وجدّتاه وغيرهنّ في بيت غارق بمشاعر متناقضة عدائيّة بين أفراده.
