"يمكن للشيطان أن يوجد بالمعنى الحرفي، ككائن منفصل ومفكر ومستقل في نفس الإنسان، فهو يستطيع التآمر ضد الانسان، ويمكنه أن يعمل كقائد في الأجزاء المنفصلة المتشظية وحالات الأنا لدى المضيف".. ويعيش مع الإنسان في جميع حالاته، فيحيط به تلك الإحاطة التي لا يمكن للإنسان الفكاك منها إلا برحمة من الله عز وجل. كيف يؤثر على الإنسان في عقله أو جسده؟.. وكيف يحوله من كائن ذو مشاعر إنسانية مرهفة الى آلة قتل وحرق وتدمير واغتصاب؟ وما حقيقة المس الشيطاني.. ولماذا يحدث عند فئة معينة من الناس دون غيرهم؟ وكيف يصنع الشيطان من هؤلاء الممسوسين زعماء روحيين وقادة سياسيين ومجرمين وقتلة تسلسليين أو أناس مهمشين؟ وكيف يتسنى له رغم احتجابه عن أبصارنا أن يحقق آثاره الوجودية والمضادة للمشروع الإلهي الذي يهدف الى السمو بالإنسان عبر الإنسان نفسه؟ أسئلة طالما حاول فكر الإنسان أن يجيب عليها، فتردد في الإجابة عليها أو توقف عندها بعض الباحثين والمفكرين، ولكن في دراسته العلمية الجديدة، يجيب الباحث قتيبة صالح على هذه الأسئلة، حيث لا يسع العقل إلا قبولها وتصديقها، إذ انها نابعة من دراسة رصينة لم تجافي في المنطق العلمي ولم تغفل عن آراء مهمة في الطب النفسي أو العلم الروحي والفلسفي، بل بنبت على آراء علمية وروحية وفلسفية وتاريخية بعيدة عن الخطل، علها تغني ذلك الفقر الموجود في المكتبة العربية فيما يتعلق بالعلوم الروحية وتضع اللبنة الأولى لحقل معرفي جديد لا ينفصل عن علوم أخرى كعلم الإنسان والطب والقانون والتاريخ".
