لم يخلق الله العباد إلا ليعبدوه ويطيعوه ويحبوه، فالمخلوق يحن إلى خالقه، ولا يجد محبوباً أسمى منه، ولا راحة إلا في السكون إليه، فلا يكون غنياً إلا من فضله، ولا يكون عزيزاً إلا به. والتشوق إلى الله هو شاغل المؤمن ومدار إهتمامه، من أجل خالقه ينسى ذاته ومغرياته، فحب الله سبيل إلى رحمة الله بعبده، والأنس بالله نور ساطع، والأنس بغيره سم قاطع، فالمحب لله بحق إن تكلم فباللله، وإن نطق فعن الله، وإن تحرك بأمر الله، وإن سكن فمع الله، فهو بالله ولله ومع الله، ونذر نفسه لله، فهذا الشبلي يقوم بالليل ويكتحل من الملح ليعتاد السهر ولا يأخذه النوم ليتمكن من عبادة الله وطاعته ويؤديها حق الأداء. والمحب لله يكون في المظهر كسائر الناس، لكنه في الحقيقة غائب عنهم في طلب مراده، يستوي عنده الموت والحياة، ما دامت روحه متعلقة مع الذات الإلهية ينقاد لله في جميع الأمور، فحياته فناؤه، وفناؤه حياته، يقف المحب في حلبة جهاد النفس والطغيان الشيطاني والإنساني، وقد وقعت عليه جميع البلايا ولا يعجز لأن صبره في الله ولله وبالله. والمحب لله يكون تقياً صفياً يعتمد في أعماله على جوهر الأمانة والإخلاص بعيداً عن التزلف والرياء والمطامع الدنيوية، وها أنا أخي القارئ أزف إليك عرائس من قصائد المحبين لله وقد سارت مسير الشمس وهي تتوهج بنور الإيمان في ساح الحب الإلهي وجدوا العقل الإنساني وحده غير كاف في الهداية إلى الله، فليس فيه غناء في هداية الإنسان إلى الإيمان الحق، فأضافوا إليه ركيزة أخرى باللجوء إلى القلب ومنه إنطلقوا يستشعرون الحب الإلهي طلباً لنور الهداية والإشراق العلوي.
