وإلى جانب المعرفة والخبرات والمكر والدهاء الذي يتوجب على أيّ منقذ للعالم أن يمتلكها، من المفترض أن يكون ذلك المنقذ كذّاباً خطيراً، وأن يكون قادراً على خلق قصص جديدة محبوكة بعناية عالية لتكون كأنّها الحقيقة بعينها. منذ فكّرت بهذه الخطوة، فكّرت في خطورة أن أتحوّل إلى كذّاب ماهر، ربما عليّ أن أخسر براءتي إثر ذلك. لكن بعد أن أُنقذ العالم وأنتهي منه، سأعود لأنقذ نفسي من كلّ ذلك الذي تعلّمته، سأختلي في السطح وحدي لمدة طويلة من الزمن، دون أن أُكلِّمَ أحداً، أيّاً كان. وبعد فترة سأفقد القدرة على الكذب والخداع، سأفقد القدرة على التلاعب بالآخرين، لأنّ ما من شيء سيدفعك لأن تكون مخادعاً أكثر من اقترابك من الناس.
