وقد عالج العدد من خلال صفحاته عدداً من الموضوعات المهمة والمؤثرة على مستوى المنطقة، فقد تضمنت المجلة دراسة بعنوان " الشرق الأوسط في العلاقات الأمريكية-الأوروبية" حيث تطرقت الدراسة إلى بيان أهمية هذه المنطقة في المجالات السياسية والاقتصادية والأمنية بالنسبة لهاتين القوتين ، إضافة إلى مراحل التحولات في هذه العلاقات ونتائجها على مختلف الأطراف، ناهيك عن رهانات المستقبل ومدخلاتها الاستراتيجية والجيوسياسية . كما تناولت المجلة في ندوة العدد موضوع "انعكاسات الحرب الأمريكية على أفغانستان" وأثرها على الصعيد الإقليمي ، وكذلك العلاقات الدولية، إلى جانب انعكاساتها على الأمن القومي العربي وخاصة بعد أحداث 11 أيلول / سبتمبر في الولايات المتحدة ، مع بيان أن هذه الحرب تشكل الحلقة الأولى في مكافحة ما تسميه واشنطن "الإرهاب" حيث ستتبعها خطوات لاحقة ضمن رؤية الإدارة الأمريكية وخياراتها الخاصة بالدول والجماعات المناهضة لسياساتها .وحفلت المجلة بالعديد من التقارير المركزة منها تقرير حول "سياسة الاغتيالات الإسرائيلية ..إرهاب دولة" والذي تضمن كذلك إحصائيات موثقة حول الذين تم اغتيالهم والجهة التي ينتمون إليها، وتقرير عن "واقع الزراعة في الأردن"، وتقرير آخر متميز بعنوان "على هامش الحرب الأمريكية على أفغانستان"، كما احتوى العدد على تقرير عن "متابعات عملية السلام في الشرق الأوسط" جنباً إلى جنب مع تقرير "عملية السلام في الصحافة الإسرائيلية"، وتطرق أحد التقارير إلى مؤتمر "فرص الاستثمار وآفاقه في الأردن" الذي عقده مركز دراسات الشرق الأوسط في عمان سابقاً، كذلك ضم العدد الحلقة الثانية من سلسلة "الأحزاب السياسية في إسرائيل" ، كما اشتمل العدد على المراجعات والببلوغرافيا، وجدير بالذكر أن هذا العدد قد احتـوى على ملحق خاص هو "كشاف المجلة من الأعداد 1-17" .
