ومن الجدير ذكره، أن نشير إلى أنّ تسمية "سَقَطُ المَتاع" اللاّمتجانسة مع مبنى ومضمون ما ورد في متنه، يعود أمرها إلى صاحب السِّفر، الغزير الإبداع والبالغ الجودة، أي إلى الشاعر الشيخ عبد الحسين صادق الذي أصرَّ على حجب وجهه الشعري عن الناس قاطبة أسوة بآبائه وأجداده العلماء الكبار الذين كانوا، مثله تماماً، من الشعراء الأفذاذ.. واستجابة لتمنيات الأبناء والزملاء والأصدقاء سمح الشاعر الوالد لنجله المفتي الشيخ حسن صادق، أن يضطلع بمهمّة نشر المحفوظ لديه من شعر والده بعد وفاته شريطة أن يُطلق على ما ينشر منه، تسمية "سَقَطُ المَتاع" ليس غير... وتأثُّراً بهذا المعنى أي بموضوع التسمية، ذهب كثرة من المساهمين في إنشاء هذا الكتاب، الموضوع بين أيديكم، إلى تناول هذه التسمية بين محبِّذٍ أو منتقد.
