تتكون هذه المجموعة من ثمانية وثلاثين درساً، ركز الشيخ "جواد آملي" فيها على بيان مقدمتين مهمتين في علم التفسير وهما: 1-طريقة تفسير القرآن بالقرآن. 2-صيانة القرآن عن التحريف.
أما طريقة تفسير القرآن بالقرآن فهي من أفضل الطرق وأسلمها، وأدقها في تفسير كتاب الله العظيم إذ أنها طريقة مأخوذة عن أبناء القرآن وتلامذته الحقيقيين وهم أهل البيت الذين أذهب الله عنهم الرجس وطهرهم تطهيراً، وستجد نماذج متعددة لذلك في خلال البحث إن شاء الله تعالى.
وأما صيانة القرآن عن التحريف فهي في الحقيقة مسألة تمثل مشكلة على من يريد أن يستفيد من القرآن في الاستدلال على المطالب الكلية كالعقائدية، والأخلاقية، والاجتماعية، والحقوقية، وغيرها.
فلا بد للمفسر من أن يقف ضد هذه المشكلة ويفندها، ويظهر الاشتباه فيها، حتى يبقى الكتاب العزيز مورداً سائغاً للظمئى، ورياً للعطشى لا يمنع من الاستفادة منه مانع ولا يحجب عن الاستفادة بأنواره حاجب.
