سعيد يقطين ناقد وباحث مغربي، ولد في مدينة الدار البيضاء في 8 مايو 1955 وقد عرف باهتماماته البحثية والاكاديمية في مجال السرديات العربية ونحت مفاهيمها وتتبع مكوناتها في النصوص العربية القديمة والحديثة.تلقى تعليمه الأولي في الكٌتاب بالدار البيضاء، ثم في المدرسة الابتدائية للتعليم، وأكمل تعليمه الإعدادي والثانوي والجامعي بمدينة فاس، وحصل على الدكتوراه من جامعة محمد الخامس في الرباط.

يدور هذا الكتاب على أطروحة أساسية: توظيف أداة جديدة للتواصل يؤدي إلى خلق أشكال جديدة للتواصل. والأداة هنا هي "الحاسوب"، أما الشكل فهو "الإبداع التفاعلي".
مع النص المترابط تتحدد الأطراف على النحو التالي: المبدع النص المترابط، الحاسوب، المتلقي. ونستعمل المبدع محل الكاتب لأن دوره يتعدى الكتابة إلى الإبداع بواسطة الحاسوب الذي يتسع لممارسات أخرى غير الكتابة، كذلك فإن القارئ، إلى جانب القراءة يقوم بأعمال أخرى تتصل بتوظيف الحاسوب. وهكذا فإن النص المترابط بما هو إبداع تفاعلي جاء تطويراً للنص والإبداع بمعناها القديم.
لهذه الاعتبارات خضنا في هذا الكتاب غمار البحث في طبيعة النص المترابط، وفي الإبداع التفاعلي وفي شروط إنتاجه وتلقيه، وذلك عبر تأطير كل ذلك في نطاق ما نسميه "الوسائط المتفاعلة" comruter mediated communication كامتداد وتطوير للوسائط المتعددة (المذياع-التلفزة...) لنبحث في الصيرورة التي قطعها الإبداع الأدبي كامتداد وتطوير للشفاعية والكتابية، وفي هذا التفاعل بين: المبدع، النص المترابط، المتلقي، الحاسوب. وهو ما دفعنا إلى البحث والتساؤل حول ما تمت إضافته للإبداع والأدب، وعما يمكن أن يجنيه المبدع والمتلقي من جراء هذا التفاعل عبر استخدام هذه الوسائل في التواصل؟
