إن فن الطب فن عظيم الفائدة كبير النفع, لا يستغني عنه الإنسان ما دام على وجه البسيطة. وقد قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم (تداووا عباد الله, إن الله ما أنزل داء إلا وأنزل له دواء). وكان صلى الله عليه وسلم يتداوى. وفن الطب من حيث موضوعه جسم الإنسان من حيث يصح ويمرض, أي ما يعتريه من الصحة والمرض, وقاية وعلاجاً- هو ما أشار له عليه الصلاة والسلام بقوله: (تداووا عباد الله...) فهذه رسالة لطيفة فيما يدور حول موضوع تشريح جسم الإنسان, وما يتبع ذلك من نقل بعض أعضائه أو أجزاء منه إلى إنسان آخر, لإنقاذه من الموت والهلاك, أو من عاهة يلزمه طول حياته, وفي ما يدور حول إجراء هذه العمليات من أحكام شرعية سواء أكان ذلك بالإباحة أو المنع. جمعت نصوص هذه الرسالة وما تحويه من أحكام شرعية من كتب تفسير القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية, وأشهر كتب الفقه وقواعده في المذاهب الأربعة المشهورة, وفيه بيان الأحكام مع أدلتها وتعليلاتها موضحة كمال الإيضاح مبينة أتم البيان مفصلة غير مجملة. لتكون نبراساً يستضيء به من أراد تطبيق أحكام الشرع الشريف في مثل هذه المجالات.
