يمثل هذا الكتاب والذي هو من إعداد رجل دين مدخلاً شاملاً إلى عالم الزوجية وأسراره، في البداية يتحدث المؤلف عن التصور الموضوعي للزواج عند الرجل والمرأة، فيتطرق للتصورات التي يصفها كل من الجنسين للزواج منها نذكر: الزواج علمية جنسية خالصة، الزواج علامة حب وغرام، الزواج مصلحة من المصالح، الزواج حاجة عاطفية، الزواج خلاص من الحياة في المنزل العائلي... من ثم يجب عن الأسئلة التالية: هل الموضوع الجنسي هاجساً يعيشه الشباب والبنات؟ ظاهرة ممارسة الجنس ما قبل الزواج حقيقة أم وهم؟ هل لشرعية العلاقة الجنسية ما قبل الزواج أو حرمتها انعكاسات، هل هناك آثار سلبية للعلاقة الجنسية ما قبل الزواج على الحياة الزوجية فيما بعد. هل هناك إمكانية للقضاء على ظاهرة ممارسة الجنس قبل الزواج أم المطلوب شيء آخر؟
