بين طيات هذا الكتاب نسخة محققة من كتاب مخطوط يعود لسنة 1361 للهجرة النبوية الشريفة وهو من إعداد العالم "أبي المنذر عبد الله بن حمود بن حامد العذالي العماني" وفيه يبث المؤلف خلاصة تجاربه في السحر، وقراءة الطلاسم، والتنبؤ بالفلك، ومما يتحدث عنه المؤلف في هذا المخطوط نذكر: منازل القمر ودوراته في الفلك، حساب التنجيم وهو لسعد الإنسان ونحسه، في معرفة المريض وما سبب مرضه، حساب المسافر والغائب، حساب الحامل وماذا تلد، خواص الساعات، كتابة حروز المحبات والتهيج والعطف، ما يعمل للجلب وللجاة، كتابة أحراز الفرقة، حجاب وحرز عن ريح الأحمر، كل المربوط، حجاب للمرأة التي تسقط الأولاد قبل تمام شهورها، للفصال، لحبس الرجل عن المرأة، رقية للملسوع، أدوار الحروف وأجزائها، جداول المنازل وحروفها وأحلاكها، فضائل وخواص بعض الآيات والسور، تلبيس للملك الأحمر، طلاسم الأيام السبعة، طلسم للمحبة... الخ.
