فيما مضى
حين كنت طفلة
كنت أظنّ الحياة مجرد تفاصيل
كبرت قليلاً
وتخلصتُ من بعضِ السذاجة
والكثير من الحماقة
لأكتشف أن الحياة إيقاعات
الماء إيقاعه عميق
حين يركد يُغرقُ من حوله
في سهولِ المتعة واللذة
وحين يجري يجرف
ويفيضُ عن الليل والنهار
وللريح إيقاع الهبوب
إذا سرى يسري ناعماً
ينعش الفؤاد
وإذا عصف اهتاجت البحار
وللتراب إيقاع يمتص الأشياء
ليخلقها من جديد
فتخضوضر
ثم اكتشفت بعد حين النار
إيقاعي المتأجّج
المتمرّد الثائر
يا حبيبي
هو كما أنا
إيقاعُ الحياة
تحتاج إلى كل الإيقاعات
لتنظمها في لحنٍ واحد
ليس له مثيل .
