لقد كانت هذه العلبة أعز صديقة احتضنت أجمل قصص جدتي..."، وهكذا استطاعت الكاتبة تقديم حكاياها من دون حاجة إلى وساطة سارد، وذلك بإستثمارها القول الذي يتيح للشخصيات التعبير الحيّ عن أحاسيس ومواقف تنتابها، فتشخص أمام أعيننا في عيشها وأحلامها حية نابضة وكأنها حقيقة، نعرف من خلالها قيمة الماضي الذي حصّنه الأجداد بحكايا هم الجميلة لتمتد إلى المستقبل الذي نعيشه، وقد زينت الكاتبة سردها بتوليفات لغوية جميلة، متنوعة، تتدفق على رسلها، صادقة، مباشرة فيها من الصدق الفني والواقعية ما يجعل منها لغة أدبية بإمتياز.
لنقرأ نصاً بعنوان "أمس انتهينا"... طاف النعاس على ماضيك وارتحلت حدائق العمر بكيا فاهدأ الآن، كان الوداع ابتسامات مبللة بالدمع حيناً وبالتذكار أحياناً، حتى الهدايا وكانت كل ثروتنا ليل الوداع نسيناها هدايانا...".
