"الوحدة العربية آتية لا ريب فيها. إذا خاضت الجماهير العربية معركة التحرير الفلسطينية، بقوة جماهيرية قومية موحدة.
الوحدة العربية بعيدة التحقيق إذا انتهت قضية فلسطين دون تحرير الأرض العربية المغتصبة تحريراً كاملاً يزيل منها آثار الصهيونية والإمبريالية أو إذا قضي على الثورة الفلسطينية.
وكل وحدة الأرض، والتاريخ، وكل ثورية الأنظمة القطرية وتقدميتها، لن تفيدنا، إذا انصرفنا عن المعركة القومية الكبرى، في تحقيق وحدتنا. ولن تكون حالنا، في هذا الوضع بأفضل حالاً من دون أميركا اللاتينية، التي تتكلم جميعها باستثناء البرازيل، اللغة الإسبانية، ومع ذلك فقد بقيت، وستبقى إلى أمد طويل، مجزأة شتيتة، ضعيفة، وتحت رحمة الاستعمار".
