اتصف الذين لا يحبهم الله بِأوصاف ذميمة ينفر منها كل ذي فطرة سوية وعقل رشيد. واللافت للنظر أنهم لم يكونوا جميعاً على وتيرة واحدة وإنما تتفاوت ذكرهم في القرآن لحكمة يعلمها الله سبحانه، فهناك المعتدون وهناك الظالمون، والمفسدون، والكافرون، والمسرفون، والخائنون والمبتكرون وغيرهم. وعليه فإن صفات هؤلاء والتي وردت في القرآن هي ثلاث عشرة صفة كلها تمثل جماع الشر وأصنافه المختلفة والمتصفون به حقاً هم من الأشرار.
