هذا شرحٌ لقصيدة البردة المسمّاة: «الكواكب الدرِّية في مدح خير البريّة» للإمام البوصيري، ألفهُ الفقيهُ المحدِّثُ المقرئُ الإمام العلّامة شهاب الدِّين القسطلاني، الذي اشتُهِرَ بشرحه لصحيح البخاري، الموسوم بإرشاد السّاري. وقد اختصر القسطلاني «مشارق الأنوار» من ثلاثة شروح لأئمة كبار، وهي: «إظهار صدق المودّة في شرح البُردة» لابن مرزوق التِّلِمساني (ت781هـ)، وشرح البردة للعماد الأقْفَهسي (ت808هـ)، وشرح البردة للجلال المحلِّي (ت864هـ)، وثلاثتها من أقدم وأنفس شروح البردة. لذلك فقد جاء هذا الشرح مشتملاً على زُبدة ما ألِّف حول البردة، ومتضمِّناً لطائفة من المعارف الشرعية والسِّيريّة واللغوية والأدبيّة والنّقديّة والنحوية والبلاغية. ولم يقتصر القسطلاني على النقل فحسب، وإنّما ساهمَ بمناقشة ما دار حول البردة من اعتراضات، وأثبتَ فيها عصارة عقله وخلاصة تجربته العلميّة، ومعتمداً في ذلك على التأويل المرتكز على اللغة، وما وصلَ إلينا من آثار، بعيداً عن الانجراف وراء الذاتية والمذهبية.
