محمد نور الدين أفايــة مفكر مغربي ولد بسلا سنة 1956، يشتغل أستاذا للفلسفة المعاصرة والجماليات بكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بالرباط، وهو عضو سابق بالمجلس الأعلى للاتصال السمعي البصري، وحاليا خبير باللجنة الثقافية بالمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والبيئي.
له مقالات فلسفية وسياسية بمجموعة من الصحف والمجلات الوطنية :
الاتحاد الاشتراكي، العلم، أنوال، الحياة، دراسات عربية، الفكر العربي، الكرمل
فاز بجائزة أهم كتاب عربي لدورة 2015 التي تمنحها مؤسسة الفكر العربي ببيروت، وذلك عن كتابه "في النقد الفلسفي المعاصر، مصادره الغربية وتجلياته العربية" .

حين تقترن الصورة مهما كان سندها، وتنوعت طبيعتها، بوجهان ضدي أو تندرج في سياق صراع على المصالح والرموز فإنها، أي الصورة، كثيراً ما تحل محل الواقع، ولما دخلت الواقعة الإسلامية، منذ تراجع تأثير حضارتها، في زمن دائري، تحول الوعي بهذا الزمن إلى أنظمة عامة من التمثلات، بحيث تغدو الذاكرة تشتغل على إيقاع تكراري، ويستعد المتخيل مقوماته من رصد رمزي حافل بالأحكام المسبقة وبالصور النمطية.
ولذلك انغمست الواقعة في إنحطاط لا يكف يفرز إلتباساته بين الخطاب والواقع، بين الوسائل والمقاصد، بين الذات والغير، ويصبح خطاب الإنحطاط تعبيراً عن حالة القلق الدائم تَعُبر تجنياته مختلف أنسجة المجتمع ومصادر إنتاج الرموز.
