هذه رسالة قيمة، تناول فيها مؤلفها -وهو العلامة الشيخ حسن البيطار- باباً مهماً في فقه الصلاة، وهو في أحكام الإقتداء، إذ أن ذلك مما يحتاج إليه كل فرد، وهو مما يتكرر كثيراً في كل يوم وليلة، فكان إيضاح وبيان هذا الباب من الأمور الواجبة المهمة.
ومؤلف هذه الرسالة عالم فاضل جليل، من علماء الشافعية المعروفين في عصره، وقد جرى في رسالته هذه في بيان أحكام الإقتداء على المعتمد من مذهب الإمام الشافعي رحمه الله تعالى، وسماها: "بذل المرام، في فضل الجماعة وأحكام المأموم والإمام".
وقد قام "عبد الرؤوف الكمالي" بالتعليق على ما يحتاج إلى تعليق في هذه الرسالة، وأشار إلى خلاف العلماء في أهم مسائل هذا الباب، ليكون القارئ على علم بذلك وإطلاع، فلا يبادر إلى الإنكار في مسائل الخلاف، وليعمل هو بما يطمئن إليه من القول بعد معرفة قائله من أئمة المذاهب وأهل الذكر.
هذا مع قيامه بعزو الآيات الكريمة إلى سورها، وعزو الأحاديث إلى مخرجيها، وبيان أحكامها من حيث الثبوت وعدمه، وعزو الأقوال إلى مصادرها، وذلك على وجه الاختصار.
