هذا الكتاب قدمه أحد تلامذة الشهيد الصدر وهو العلامة "حسن الراضي" يتضمن قبسات من فكر الشهيد الصدر، ضمن دراسة موضوعية تحليلية لأبعاد الصراع الفكري بين التيارات والمذاهب الفلسفية المادية، وبين الفكر والفلسفة الإسلامية، على ضوء كتاب "فلسفتنا" للإمام محمد باقر الصدر.
وفي هذا العمل يعرض العلامة "الراضي" لمختلف المجادلات الفكرية والعلمية المتضمنة لكتاب "فلسفتنا" للإمام الصدر وفيها يناقش منظري الرأسمالية والماركسية وجميع الفلسفيات القديمة والحديثة والنظريات منها المادية والميتافيزيقية. إضافة المذهب العقلي، والمذهب التجريبي، والمذهب الشكي، وصولاً إلى المثالية. يقول الإمام الصدر فيما خص (نظرية المعرفة): "أن المقياس الأول في التفكير البشري الذي تكتسب المعارف ويحصل به الجزم واليقين التصديقي إنما هو مرده العقل ليس إلا، وحتى ما يُقال ويدّعى من أن رصيد المعارف البشرية عند التجريبيين هي التجربة وأنها المقياس في ذلك، فإن هذا في حقيقته يعود إلى تطبيق المقياس العقلي (ولا غنى للنظرية التجريبية عن الرصيد العقلي)".
يتوزع الكتاب على ثلاثة أقسام: القسم الأول بعنوان (التصور ومصدره في الفلسفة) ويناقش فيه: نظرية الإستذكار الأفلاطونية، النظرية العقلية، والنظرية الحسية، إضافة إلى مصدر التصور في نظر الفلسفة الإسلامية (نظرية الإنتزاع).
أما القسم الثاني فجاء بعنوان (مصدر التصديق في الفلسفة الميتافيزيقية والمادية) ويناقش فيه: المذهب العقلي ومصدر التصديق، المدرسة الأرسطية ومصدر التصديق، المدرسة الإسلامية ومصدر التصديق، المذهب التجريبي ومصدر التصديق. ثم القسم الثالث والأخير بعنوان (قيمة المعرفة في المذاهب الفلسفية) ويناقش فيه: المثالية وروادها: باركلي، جون لوك، وأخيراً ديكارت.
