وقد استعرض هذا الكتاب نشأة الشيخ في تفصيل شيق مبسط يستفيد منه كل من يهتم بهذا الموضوع، ثم أعقباه بالفصل الثاني الذي يتضمن الحديث عن أطوار حياة الشيخ (محمد تصنيف) وما صاحب ذلك من أحداث عظيمة في بلادنا وفيما حولها من البلدان العربية والإسلامية، أما الفصل الثالث من فصول الكتاب فإنه يتحدث عن عقيدة الشيخ السلفية.
والفصل المهم الآخر هو الفصل الرابع من فصول الكتاب الذي يتحدث عن علاقة الشيخ محمد نصيف بالملوك والرؤساء والأمراء والوجهاء، ثم جاء الفصلان الخامس والسادس للتحدث عن الصفات البارزة من صفات هذه الشخصية الكبيرة حيث تحدثنا عن إنسانيته ومحبته لنفع الجميع.
وختام الكتاب هو الفصل الذي يتحدث عنه معاصرو الشيخ وعارفو فضله.
