يعدُ هذا مدخلاً ومقدمة في الأخلاق وفلسفتها، وقد حاول المؤلفان تبسيط طرح هذا الموضوع الشائك خدمة للمستجدين من القراء والطلبة الأعزاء، ولا نزعم أننا سنأتي بجديد في هذا المجال ولكننا سنعمد لتقديم مدخل يُسهل على القارئ الولوج الحسن إلى هذه الرحاب الفسيحة، والتي يحتاجها أيَّ إنسان على جميع صعد حياته المختلفة، ولأن الأخلاق أساس من أساسيات الحياة البشرية لا يتم إجتماع البشرية إلا بها، فقد عمد المؤلفان إلى توضيح لأهمّ معطيات ومحددات هذه الفلسفة، مع تباين تعبيراتها، في كل حضارةٍ من الحضارات.
وبما أن الأخلاق هي المشروع البشري الذي يَخلُقُ عالماً يسوده السِّلم والتراحم والتعاون القائم على الخير والحق والعدل، وهو في الوقت عيّنه شرَط لازم لقيام أي حضارة بشرية.
كان من المفيد بيان ذلك وتجليات قيمته، فالأخلاق من مكونات الميزان الحُكمي الفردي والجمعي على التصرفات والمواقف والأعمال.
وسنعرض في هذا المدخل لفلسفة الأخلاق تنبيها لأهمية الأخلاق في حياة الإنسان، ولأهمية ذلك فقد رغبنا وضع مدخل مُيسر لفلسفة الأخلاق، لما في ذلك من أثر في تصحيح السير والسريرة، ودعوةً للإرتقاء نحو مجتمعات متحضرة على الحقيقة تُفعّل قيّم الحق والعدل والإخاء والخير والصدق والوفاء...، فيه بما يرفع من همّة وعزيمةٍ الإنسان نحو سمو الأخلاق وحسن التعاون في صناعة مستقبل زاهر لنا جميعاً، وزادنا الأمر إقداماً لما نشاهده ونعايشه في حاضرنا من تدن للمنظومة الأخلاقية في جميع ضروب حياتنا، فكان الأمل في نشر وعي متكّامل يقدم الأخلاق والقيّم كمعايير داخلية تسمو بها نفوس المجتمع في بلادنا، وكذا الإنسان.
متجاوزين إعطاء الأحكام على هذه الفلسفات تاركين للقارئ هذه المهمة، فهدفنا فتح العيون على أهمية هذا الموضوع، وإثارة الإهتمام به.
