هذا كتاب في الترحل برفقة شعراء ميتين، هنا الرحلة التي جعلتني أجس الشعر وأتعرّف على روح المدن وأعيش حريتي وسفري، وأحتفل بالقراءة كفعل حياة ... بهذه العبارات يبدأ فادي عزام كتابه .. رحلة إلى قبور ثلاثة شعراء" ، هم: أرثر رامبو - فرانز كافكا - فيرناندو ابيْسوّا، برفقة الشاعر السوري رياض صالح الحسين الذي يهديه عمله هذا، وقد قرأه صغيراً، ووجد شعره "كان سلساً، منساباً، سهل الحفظ، وأذكر - والكلام للمؤلف - أنني من دون جهد حفظت مقطعاً من نصوصه، بت أردده في كل مناسبة: "ها أنذا أحلم بشيء واحد أو أكثر قليلاً / أن تصير الكلمة خبزاً / أو عنباً / طائراً
أو سريراً / وأن ألف ذراعي اليسرى حول كتفك، واليمنى حول كتف العالم / وأقول للقمر صوّرنا !".
يتضمن الكتاب تأملات في عوالم شعراء أدركوا بشكل أو بآخر النزيف نزيف الأرض لا يمكن أن يصمد أمامه الشاعر من دون الكلمة والحرف والشعور، يأخذ فادي عزام قارئه في رحلة حقيقية وفعلية مدهشة ومختلفة إلى الأمكنة والأضرحة التي كان يرقد فيها كل شاعر منهم، اتخذ من ديوان رياض صالح الحسين الشاعر الغائب عن الساحة الشعرية لأكثر من ثلاثين عاماً أنيسه ورفيق دربه في السفر، ولم يقتصر الأمر على ذلك، بل أخذ يقرأ نصوص الشاعر على كل ضريح قام بزيارته.
البداية مع الشاعر الفرنسي آرثر رامبو الذي حمل لقب "طفل شكسبير" في منطقة شارفيل / فرنسا، ينتقل بعدها المؤلف إلى التشيك وتحديداً إلى براغ، حيث يزور ضريح الشاعر فرانز كافكا المعروف برائد الكتاب السوداوية، ثم يسافر المؤلف فيما بعد إلى البرتغال حيث ضريح الشاعر فرناندو بيْسوّا في براغ.
وينتهي الكتاب بحديث المؤلف عن نفسه، "لا يمكن لي بعد أن أنهيت هذه الرحلة إلا أن أعود إلى بلدي، إلى شعراء بلدي شهداء بلدي ناس بلدي، فأنا سوري هذه الأيام. لم تعد أوروبا تمنحني الفيزا لزيارة قبور شعراءها، ولا أخوتي في بلاد العرب يريدونني بينهم، أردد ليس لدى السوري هذه الأيام سوى الريح والعاصفة ...".
