ومن هنا كانت فكرة هذه الموسوعة التي تعد شاهداً على الزمان بكل آماله وآلامه، أفراحه وأتراحه، سعادته وشقائه، فقد أوردت أخباراً جمة وأحداثاً بعضها شهدنا عليه والبعض الآخر سمعناه بآذاننا وقرأناه بأعيننا، فالأحداث التي مرت وما زالت تمر على البشرية لا يستطيع كاتب حصرها، فكل يوم جديد فيه حدث، وكل طلوع فجر يشاركه فرح أو حزن فيه الحدث الجلل أو الصغير.
