هذه الأطروحة المقدمة لنيل درجة الدكتوراه في السنة وعلوم الحديث، من الباحث/محمد بن حسن إلى قسم السنة وعلوم الحديث، بكلية أصول الدين، بجامعة أم درمان الإسلامية بجمهورية السودان.
وهذه الرسالة تعد الأولى في فنها، حيث تعهد الباحث أن يستوعب كل ما جاء من أحاديث في الكتب التسعة، تخص الأبواب، والفصول والمباحث، المرتبة حسب ما جاء في الخطة، وهي مكونة من بابين، الباب الأول: الأحكام المتعلقة بـ (الاحتضار-الدفن-القبر)، أما الباب الثاني (أحوال الأرواح في البرزخ، والنفخ في الصور) وفي كل باب ثلاثة فصول، وفي كل فصل مباحث تزيد وتنقص حسب الحاجة وتشتمل الرسالة على معانً، ولطائف جميلة.
قد لا تكون مجتمعة في كتاب واحد فهي تبدأ من وقت الاحتضار قبل خروج الروح، وحين خروج الروح، وكيف يجب أن يكون العبد على حسن ظنه بالله عز وجل، وأنه قادم على رحيم، فهو أرحم من الوالدة بولدها، وأن لا يسيئ الظن بالله فإنه رحمان الدنيا، والآخرة، وكيفية طيب رائحة روح المؤمن، ونتن رائحة روح الكافر، إلى أن يوضع في قبره، وهل العذاب يكون على البدن، أم على الروح، أم على كليهما؟ وهل يكون لقاء بين الأرواح، وهل تتزاور؟ وكيفية وصول الأعمال الصالحة إلى الميت، وهل تصل؟ وما هي الأمور التي تقتضي عذاب القبر، وما هي المنجية منه؟ وما هو الصور؟ وما عدد نفخاته؟ وهذا، وذاك، وغيره، من حياة البرزخ، تجده في ثنايا البحث، ويحتاج إلى شرح وتفصيل، وفي ثوب دعوي، يزيد المؤمن قربه، وإقبالاً على الله، كما يكشف النقاب عن بعض الغيبيات، التي لو علمها غير المسلمين لدخلوا في الإسلام، وسوف يبرزها البحث ويوثقها، مما يجعل القارئ يطمئن إلى الراجح.
