قدمت للكتاب بكلمة الكاتبة السورية لبابة أبو صالح ومما جاء فيها: "... إن أمل القضيبي، كاتبة واعدة تحاوِلُ أن ترتقَ الثقوبَ التي تستيقِظُ كل يومٍ لتجدها في عالمها، وتدرِكُ قيمةَ الكلمة والكتاب المطبوعِ، تدركُ أنه الأبقى وأنه الحافز للاستمرار في التعبير للتغيير والتأثير.. ولهذا تماماً تحاولُ الكاتبة أن تضع قدمها على أول درجةٍ للصعود نحو الآخرِ.. لتزيد من احتمالياتِ نجاحها في ترك بصمتها الخلاقة والمفيدة في آن.. ومن هنا تحديداً يجيء هذا الكتابُ الأولُ لأمل القضيبي، والذي تتراوح نصوصُهُ بين الخواطر والمقالاتِ الأدبية والقصص القصيرةِ، ليحمِل هموماً مختلفةً تحُثُّ الكاتبةُ من خلالها على معاني الحق والخير والجمالِ".
أما المؤلفة فقد قدمت لعملها بـ "مقدمة" تقول فيها: "جِئتُ كغيمة تهطل حُباً، تقرأُ كُتُباً، تكتُبُ سِحراً، تنشُرُ عِطراً. جئتُ إليك يا قارئ كلماتي بكتاب تفوح من بين أوراقه رائحة المطر، وشقاوة الطفولة، وحنين الذكريات. لا يمكن أن يكون هذا السِفرُ بِدَعاً، فقد سبقني غيري بنصوصهم الجميلة، وقصصهم التي كُنتُ أقرأها لهم بسعادة. جاء دوري لأقف على أول درجة، فأترك بصمة العشق الأول؛ بعضاً من نصوص أظنها خالدة .. ما دامت بين يديّ قارئ نهم، مُحب للأدب، عاشق للقراءة.
هُنَا بعضٌ مني وهُنَا أنثر كلماتي. ممتنة لكل من يقرأ حرفي، وله أبذُلُ تقديري وحُبي".
